ARMSTRONG INVERTED BUCKET TRAPS
The most reliable steam trap operating principle know is the inverted bucket type device invented by Armstrong.
It works on the difference in density between condensate and steam, hence only operating when condensate is present and does not pass steam.
- Highly resistant to damage from water hammer.
- Only 2 moving parts, no fixed points, no complex linkages, no binding or clogging.
- Continuous automatic air and CO² venting with no cooling lag or air binding.
- Excellent performance against back pressure.
- All working parts are corrosion resistant stainless steel.
- Stainless traps come with a full 3 year warranty.
ARMSTRONG STEAM TRAP
Float and Thermostatic, Thermostatic, Thermodynamic and Differential Controllers for pressures to 41 Bar g capacities to 136,000 kg/hr for both saturated or superheated steam. Available Cast Iron, Cast Steel.
ARMSTRONG TRAP VALVE STATIONS
A combination of the Inverted Bucket Steam Trap and inbuilt piston valves for isolation and testing introduces to the market a revolutionary way to look after your steam system. Reduce the costs of installation, energy and maintenance with Trap Valve Stations (TVS) available in Cast Iron and Stainless Steel most sizes.
PUMPING TRAPS
Mechanical and Electrical condensate pump systems and packaged solutions to solve those condensate return issues. Armstrong pump traps have Inconel X-750 springs for superior corrosion resistance and longer service life. Capacity ranges from 350 lb/hr to 73,000 lb/hr.
